Today I lit a candle.. - Season for Nonviolence

I recently found myself drawn to a church in my area called Unity (not to be confused with Unitarians) being a liberal minded person in this area makes it hard to find a church.  I am sorry I don't believe that who you vote for determines if you go to hell.  I also defend my political view based in how Jesus treated people, sorry that's how I roll.

So back to my point they really love daily devotional type messages, well today I read that they have "partnered" with the Association for Global New Thought's (AGNT) Season for Nonviolence - to promote peace now through April 4th.  Each day they will have a picture with a message to help promote peace, one of the guiding principals I love about Unity is that "world peace starts with you".  It's true, and simple and I couldn't help but let it change me.

Thus today I decided I am going with this, it's the object I need to work on most of all, Peace!  So today their message was - Today I light a candle to symbolize my commitment to having the courage to practice living in peace.
